Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time | Bulletin of June 14, 2026 Message from Msgr. Schwanger

My Dear Family of Our Lady of Lourdes,

Off to Lourdes!
This weekend we will be blessing our pilgrims as they make their last preparations before leaving for Lourdes. We will be going in two separate planes, as it is the only way to fit us all. The first group will be those serving with the Hospitalité Notre Dame de Lourdes in the Sanctuary at the baths, the train station, and the accueils as well as the logistics team that will set up for the pilgrims with the help of the youth. We are super happy to have the Scouts with us. Scouting is very big in France and Italy, and we will tour the Scout Camp at Lourdes as part of the pilgrimage. The second group includes Bishop Delgado and the pilgrims, along with the leadership and medical support teams.

While we are at Lourdes, we will celebrate a Healing Mass and participate in the Eucharistic and Candlelight Rosary Processions. We will visit the Grotto and be taking your petitions with us. We will visit the Baths and celebrate the Geste de l’Eau. Our new pilgrims will be inducted into the Famille Notre Dame de Lourdes. Please keep us in your prayers, as you will be in ours as well.

For those of us at home, the Healing Mass with the Candlelight Procession to the Grotto is on the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary. At that time, those who would like to be inducted into the Famille Notre Dame de Lourdes will have their induction. If you would like to join the Famille, just let me know by sending me an email and I will send you more information.

Finally, let us give Fr. Fredy a big thank you! He will be watching over the parish while we are gone.
