Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Announcements from our bulletin of October 22, 2017

From the moment of our founding in 1882, charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. We are men of faith and men of action. Our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national and international projects.

From international charitable partnerships with Special Olympics, the Global Wheelchair Mission and Habitat for Humanity to our own Food for Families and Coats for Kids projects and other purely local charities, the opportunity to work together with fellow Knights and their families is virtually endless.

If you’d like to be a part of an international organization of more than 1.8 million Catholic men whose principal work involves helping others in need, we’d like to meet you and invite you to join us.

May She Rest in Peace.

Dear Our Lady of Lourdes Family

We would like to announce the passing of our beloved friend, Norma Bancroft, a long time active parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.

Ms. Norma Bancroft was one of the founding members of our church, who served our parish community in different ministries such as Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and Ministry to the Sick and the Poor of the Parish.

Our Parish Respect Life Ministry will be collecting baby items for mothers in need.

Please take a teddy bear from either tree at the church lobby or the back of the chapel and purchase a new baby item as listed. Bring the unwrapped item to the Parish Hall on

Saturday 28th or Sunday 29th, before or after every mass.

Used items in excellent conditions, such as crib, mattresses, sheets, strollers and maternity and baby clothes. All items will be donated to the Respect Life Emergency Pregnancy Center.

Help us support mothers in need who have said YES to life, the material and spiritual support they deserve so that their babies may enjoy a marvelous beginning to their lives.

“Children are a gift from God. The fruit of the womb in His reward” (Psalm 127:3)
