Lay volunteers offer assistance in the baths, at the train station, in the Sanctuaries and supporting sick or disabled pilgrimages at either of two specialized Accueil hospital-like facilities in Lourdes.

No experience is necessary. Orientation, formation and hand-on training are provided by North American Lourdes Volunteers.

Pilgrimage packages include

  • Roundtrip airfare and ground transfers
  • Taxes and fuel charges
  • Shared Sanctuaries' accommodations
  • Three meals daily
  • Pilgrimage chaplain and leader
  • Program, orientation and guided tours

Price does not include mandatory Travel Guard medical insurance; premium varies per trip cost and pilgrimage.
